When we began work on this Victorian home, it was suffering from subsidence and in need of major structural and aesthetic improvements. We worked closely with the neighbouring property to submit a joint planning application for an 8-metre kitchen extension, alongside the addition of a double dormer loft conversion. Both the loft and kitchen were clad externally in black zinc, creating a bold contemporary contrast to the original architecture. Inside, we reconfigured the layout to include a new utility room and first-floor bathroom. The interiors were finished in soft pastels and feature a bespoke handmade kitchen, blending character and modern craftsmanship throughout.
